"the bangerters"!!

It's official. We are "The Bangerters" and we couldn't be more excited! The day was beautiful and seriously could not have gone better! I am waiting on pictures but as soon as I get them I will do a wedding post. For now, I'll be updating on the post wedding life.
Colt and I got married the 7th of January. We left for Colt's new job Texas at 6 am on the 8th. It was crazy trying to plan a wedding and a move to Texas in no time at all but we managed to make it happen with tons of help from our amazing friends and family. We had a 24 hour drive through a whole lot of nothing but was seriously so fun. We stopped at 'hole in the rock' and that was about the coolest thing we saw. One of Colton's best friends in on a mission in New Mexico, so we stopped and saw him when we drove through town, so that was really fun too.
We originally thought we would be living in Bastrop. We got there and found out we were actually only there for two nights while the company moved the equipment from Bastrop to San Antonio. So two days later we headed to San Antonio. Growing up in Victor, Idaho coming to San Antonio is the biggest culture shock in the world. I've always heard people say how awful this world is and I thought I knew what they meant but I've always been blessed to live in gorgeous, small, FRIENDLY towns. San Antonio is basically the polar opposite. It's scary. I try not to go to many places alone. Just stay in our little gated apartment complex, maybe go tanning or to the grocery store and work out but that is it! It's totally a whole new world.
On the other hand I have gotten to see so many new things and places.
Hole in the Rock - it was wayyy bright.

We have been to see The Alamo a couple of times.

We got to go to Tower of the Americas. I really am not a fan of heights and I HATE elevators. So I wasnt too excited for this but Colt really wanted to go. I actually considered taking the stairs to the top so I wouldn't have to ride the elevator. But he said he really doesnt recommend that. Lol so I sucked it up and I lived :)

The last few weeks have been amazing. I miss home and my family but I love being able to go to sleep and wake up next to my husband everyday. I feel so blessed to be here and be seeing and experiencing all these new things. <3
